Versailles, Florida-the largest home ever built in USA

Home is where the heart is; being the owner of the world’s largest family home ever built in USA one can very well imagine how inordinately massive the heart could get. Located in the east coast of the States, Florida this mansion, if it could be called so, brags of a good 30 number of rooms apart from a number of courts, swimming pools etc making it one of the most extravagant homes of our times.

Named after the palace of Versailles-France, this heavenly abode can brag about an ostentatious amount of luxuries all under one roof. Mr David Seigel along with his former queen Jacqueline set about building their dream together 3 years ago by spending an atrocious amount of about $75mn and another $25mn is the expected investment to make the place livable.

Apart from a good 30 rooms, the home has as many as 23 bathrooms furnished with full sized Jacuzzis, multiple paned windows and French style doors. To cater to the hunger pangs of its residents the house boasts of a 37 foot by 30 foot kitchen and 10 satellite kitchens to go along. Other luxuries include ballroom and children’s theatre apart from 3 large swimming pools, formal gardens to go with them and varied number of sports fields for baseball, tennis etc. This world in itself also houses a two-story wine cellar, three separate spas and an 80 foot waterfall. The garage can house as many as 20 cars. For those that believe it really is about living life king size, this beauty is as good as a living dream.

Love the lights and glamour of everyhting that the rich of this world have to flaunt. There' something almost humurous about the antics of the ultra rich, and my posts here are an endeavor to share few smiles with you, of course, in the backdrop of extreme richness.

Got something to say? Go for it!
